To engage children in meaningful experiences of high-quality music education and performance opportunities and maintain a strong, collaborative presence within music education and performance locally and worldwide.
Steve McBride, holds a Bachelor of Music, in Music Education (vocal concentration) from West Chester University and is in the graduate program at Westminster Choir College of Rider University. He has taught choral music to all grade levels, but has a particular fondness for student in middle school. His choirs have performed throughout the United States including concerts halls in Philadelphia, Baltimore, and Washington D.C..
In addition to his teaching, Mr. McBride has been Music Director/Conductor/Vocal Director of over 30 shows including The Producers, Into the Woods, Les Miserables, Pajama Game, Camelot, South Pacific, Grease, My Fair Lady, Cinderella, Sound of Music, Trial by Jury, and King and I. Since coming to the DC Metro area, Steve has become in demand throughout the area as a vocal coach, accompanist, and conductor. Recent credits include The Prom (Music Director, Reston Community Players) Company (Music Director, GS Players, The Producers (Vocal Director, LTA), and A Gentleman’s Guide to Love and Murder (Vocal Director, LTA).
